Lies of P Carnival Garden Guide: Where to Find Every Coin, Item & Mini-Game

Introduction: Where to Find Every Coin, Item & Mini-Game

Welcome to your full walkthrough of Carnival Garden in Lies of P: Overture DLC Part 3. If you’ve just taken down the latest boss, you're in the right place to keep things rolling. This guide walks you through every step in the Carnival Garden zone — from unlocking doors and completing side quests to locating all carnival coins, mini-games, and key rewards like outfits, gestures, and collectibles.

This area is packed with secrets, including a puppet looking for her shoes, tricky enemy encounters, and some quirky carnival games that actually reward you with useful loot. Whether you're chasing a Platinum trophy or just aiming for 100% completion, this guide has you covered.

Arriving at Carnival Garden and Starting Rosa’s Quest

After defeating the last boss, head back to the Stargazer to continue the DLC. You’ll now be able to use a key to unlock a previously inaccessible door. Go through the passage and you’ll land in a sunlit courtyard. Activate the new Stargazer there and approach the small puppet nearby — her name is Rosa.

Speak with her and go through every dialogue option. Her quest is simple: she’s lost her shoes, and you’ll need to track them down. Once you’ve accepted the task, take some time to upgrade if needed. Then move forward into the main carnival area.

First Carnival Booth, Mini-Game & Coin

As you enter the Carnival Garden, head right toward a small booth where you’ll find 10 saw blades. These are used in a nearby mini-game. Break all the targets using saw blades or a bow to win the Royal Bloom Tea Set — a valuable item you can sell later.

Next, pick up the Reconnaissance Orders found nearby, then follow the path left to your first Carnival Coin. In total, there are four coins to collect in this level. You’ll use them to unlock various side attractions and mini-games.

Mini-Game Stage, Dance Gesture & Coin #2

Continue ahead to find another small attraction — the Carnival Prize Stage. Here, grab a prize announcement card and use your first carnival coin to unlock a dance performance. Wait for the music to end and you’ll earn a new gesture: Tap Dance. This will be important later on.

From there, return to the intersection and go past the shooting gallery. Head into the back left corner to grab some throwing balls and spot a butterfly enemy. Use the Puppet String Legion Arm to take it down easily. Past that, watch for a strong enemy. Defeat them to get a Glowing Ergo Chunk and grab your second carnival coin nearby.

Extra Loot, Tough Enemy & Coin #3

Keep moving forward and you’ll reach an icy area with an Attribute Resistance Ampoule. Under the ice, strike to reveal a Glowing Ergo Crystal. After collecting it, head up to a locked door — remember it for later, once you get the Black Rabbit Key.

Return to the earlier crossroads and push forward to fight a familiar enemy. Defeat him to claim Carnival Coin #3. Take the path right and collect the Improved Discovery item near another booth. Here, you’ll use your newly earned coin to access a balloon-popping mini-game. Equip a fast weapon like the Winter Rapier Blade for quick hits and avoid the red targets.

Mini-Game Reward, Ferris Wheel Area & Coin #4

Once you beat the mini-game, you’ll earn the Blade of the Madman's Windmill from a chest that opens nearby. Head back to the main carnival square and take the path toward the large Ferris Wheel. Deal with enemies using the Puppet String to keep things clean and fast.

Near the Ferris Wheel, head to the right and check the corner behind it. Defeat the enemies there and grab the loot, including a Splendid Ergo Chunk and a Hibernation Amulet +1 from a chest up the stairs. Afterward, go back to the Ferris Wheel square to push toward the next area.

Bank, Arena Mini-Boss & New Key

Next, head right past the Ferris Wheel to find a small bank building. Pick up the Fable Catalyst inside. Just beyond it is a coin-operated attraction. Use one of your coins to unlock an arena where you’ll fight a strong mini-boss. Take them down to earn the Auto-Adaptive Converter +1, a valuable item for balancing weight stats.

After grabbing it, circle back to the main area. From here, you’re close to wrapping up Carnival Garden’s main content. Your last major stops are the carousel, a return to Rosa, and one more secret mini-game.

Final Carnival Coin, Carousel Zone & Rosa’s Shoes

Go toward the carousel area where you’ll find another shooting gallery. Use it to earn a Miraculous Vial and make sure to pick up the Legion Magazine nearby. In the far-right corner of this area, you’ll find Carnival Coin #4 — the final one you need. Defeat the last few enemies around here and gather any remaining loot.

Next, it's time to ride the Ferris Wheel. Time your jump to land on the wooden planks at the top, then continue forward. There are a few enemies up here, so be ready. Push ahead until you reach the carousel tent. Inside, avoid getting hit by moving horses and pick up the Crescent Moonstone. The shoes Rosa needs are in the chest here — they’re called Roll Shoes.

Returning the Shoes & Unlocking Final Rewards

With the shoes in hand, make your way back to Rosa at the first Stargazer. Hand them over to complete her quest and receive a record and a drawing piece that points to hidden treasure. These are essential if you’re working toward full trophy completion.

Once done, return to the spot where you found the last coin and cross the suspension bridge. Nearby, you’ll find a tent where you can toss your final coin into a machine and get a Full Moon Moonstone. Don’t forget to use the Tap Dance gesture here to unlock another reward — the Cheer gesture and a Strategist’s Amulet.

Merchant Encounter & Using the Black Rabbit Key

Nearby, you’ll meet a special merchant who offers lore about the Royal Bloom Tea Set. Sell the tea set to him for 190 Ergo. While you're there, make sure to buy the Black Rabbit Key, the Life Amulet, and the record he has for sale. He also sells extra gears if you're low on supplies, but those are optional.

With the key in your inventory, return to the locked door near the shooting gallery from earlier. Open it using the Black Rabbit Key. Inside, loot the safe to get a full Black Rabbit Gang outfit, including the stylish mask and hunting gear. It's a great cosmetic addition and ties in with some collectible objectives.

Train Station Access & Final Optional Reward

Teleport to the Zoo Tram Station using the Stargazer. From here, walk up to the train station where you’ll meet a blind NPC who asks you to admire her painting. Interact with it and choose whether to lie or tell the truth about the canvas. Your choice affects your Lie System alignment.

Activate the nearby Stargazer to complete this area. Before leaving, grab the final optional item — an Ergo Chunk hidden in the left corner near the tram crates. Once done, hop on the tram to continue the DLC in Part 4.

Conclusion

Carnival Garden in Lies of P: Overture DLC Part 3 is one of the most interactive and rewarding zones in the game. From mini-games and collectibles to hidden NPCs and gear, this area is packed with content that ties directly into your 100% completion or Platinum trophy progress. Be sure to return coins to the right attractions, use gestures at the right times, and don’t forget to revisit older areas with newly obtained keys.

Whether you’re in it for the gear, the lore, or just the fun of clearing out every enemy and puzzle, following this guide should ensure you don’t miss a thing before hopping on the tram to your next destination.
