When I’m not gaming, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen or out by the grill. I love to cook, and BBQ is my specialty. There’s something deeply satisfying about slow-cooking a rack of ribs or grilling the perfect burger over open flames. I’m always trying out new rubs, marinades, and techniques. Whether it’s a casual taco night or a full-on smoked brisket Sunday, I bring the same level of dedication to food that I do to gaming.
Some of my favorite eats? Pizza, tacos, lasagna, and good ol’ Velveeta mac and cheese—comfort food at its finest.

Books are another world I love escaping to, especially when it comes to science fiction and fantasy. I’m a huge fan of The Death Gate Cycle, The Sword of Shannara, The Hobbit, and The Wheel of Time. These stories have inspired me not just as a reader but as a thinker. The worlds, characters, and conflicts spark my imagination and even influence how I approach games and storytelling.

On the cinematic side, I’m all about sci-fi and fantasy. The Matrix trilogy blew my mind the first time I watched it, and The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are films I revisit often. I'm also a major sports enthusiast. I follow MLB baseball religiously, and my heart belongs to the Seattle Mariners. There's just something timeless about a summer evening at the ballpark (or listening to the game while working in the garden).
When fall rolls around, I shift gears to college football, passionately rooting for the Washington Huskies, and of course, I never miss a game during NFL season when the Seattle Seahawks are on. When I’m not immersed in digital worlds or busy with my hobbies at home, I love to get outdoors. Camping and hiking are some of my favorite ways to reset and recharge. There’s nothing like the smell of pine trees, the crackling of a campfire, or falling asleep under a sky full of stars.
One of my favorite places on Earth is Bend, Oregon, especially Sunriver. The scenery, the vibe, the clear skies—it’s my ultimate vacation escape.
💻 Design & Craft
I’ve also got a creative streak when it comes to hands-on and digital projects. I enjoy web design, whether it’s making sleek gaming websites or just experimenting with layouts and aesthetics. Offline, I like building things with wood, from functional shelves to quirky home decor. There’s something really rewarding about crafting something from scratch.
🐾 Animal Lover
I’m an animal person—especially if the animals are quiet dogs (I appreciate the calm!) or Maine Coon cats (those majestic, fluffy giants steal my heart every time). I also raise chickens, which might sound like a curveball, but it connects me back to a simpler, more natural rhythm of life. Plus, fresh eggs are unbeatable.
🌱 Gardening & Electroculture
One of my more unique passions is gardening, both for veggies and flowers. But I take it a step further with electroculture gardening—a method that uses energy fields to boost plant growth. It might sound like science fiction, but it’s rooted in real curiosity and experimentation. Watching something thrive under your care is incredibly fulfilling.

And of course, no list of what I love would be complete without mentioning my girlfriend, Destiny. She’s my partner in crime, my biggest cheerleader, and the one who makes all the fun things in life even better.
