Challenge Rift 447 - First Impressions
Jumping into Challenge Rift 447, I put this new AoE Wizard build to the test. Right away, the strength of this setup was clear. Each primary attack launched a devastating blast, helping gather enemies into tight groups for massive damage output. It’s easy to spot the blasts flying everywhere as I squeezed enemies into one place and wiped them out quickly.
One thing to note: the sheer volume of attacks did cause some serious lag at times! That’s how wild the damage output is — even the servers struggled to keep up.
Despite occasional lag spikes, the build was super easy to play. You really only need to spam one ability — Scorch — making it ideal even for mobile players using iPads or phones.
As I progressed through the rift, the boss spawned quickly due to how fast I cleared the mobs. Although single-target damage wasn’t as strong as AoE, that’s not what this build is about. It’s all about melting groups of enemies instantly.

Main Sets Used:

Four-piece Windloft Perfection: Boosts beneficial effect duration and attack damage.

Two-piece Banquet of Eyes: Enhances poison effects, boosting your damage against chilled and poisoned enemies.
I stacked these sets mainly because the build relies heavily on primary attack damage. Banquet of Eyes provided consistent extra damage when I applied bleeding and poison effects using Lash Curse and Seeping Bile.
Gear Stat Priorities

Magic Missile Essence (Equalizer): Converts your next Magic Missile into a flaming missile after using a skill, causing it to explode for 74k AoE damage. You can store up to three charges.
