Where to Find the Painted Cage at Old Farm
When you reach the Old Farm area in Stone Wave Cliffs, head left from the main path. Look closely near a cliffside and you’ll spot the painted cage tucked beside some rocky terrain. It’s hard to miss once you get near. This is the second painted cage in the region, and unlocking it is key to grabbing an exclusive reward.
Before you can open it, you’ll need to collect three keys scattered around this section of the map. Thankfully, none of them are too far from the cage itself.
Key Location 1 – Behind the Crates
Start by checking around the wooden crates just a bit ahead of the cage. One of the keys is hidden right behind them. Move a few boxes if needed or adjust your camera angle to spot it clearly. This is usually the easiest key to find, so grab it first and move on.
Key Location 2 – Near the Rocky Path
Once you've picked up the first key, head slightly uphill toward a narrow rocky path. On your right, close to the base of a ledge, you’ll see the second key tucked between some scattered stones. It blends into the environment, so take a moment to scan the area carefully. This one is easy to miss if you rush past it.
Key Location 3 – Across the Gap
For the third and final key, look toward the opposite side of the cage. There's a small platform area across a gap. Use the nearby path to loop around and cross safely. Once you're on the other side, you'll find the last key sitting openly on the ground, just waiting to be picked up. With all three keys in hand, you're ready to unlock the cage.
Unlocking the Cage and Claiming the Duenum Weapon
Once you've collected all three keys, return to the painted cage at Old Farm. Use the keys to unlock it, and you'll be rewarded with the Duenum weapon. It’s a unique item that’s ideal for players focusing on a defense-based strategy with Muel.
The unlocking animation is simple, and there’s no additional fight or puzzle—you get the weapon immediately after opening the cage. Make sure to equip it and check the stats right away.
Why the Duenum Is Great for Muel’s Build
The Duenum scales primarily with defense and agility, making it perfect if you're building Muel for tank-style gameplay. It adds a solid mix of survivability and counter-mobility, helping her withstand more hits while still being able to respond quickly.
